Hi!
I have two comps in LAN (Ethernet) - one (Comp1) in WinXP, another (Comp2) in Win7. IPs for both comps are assigned by DHCP. Internet is available for both Comps and for assigned wireless units. So the router is configured almost well. But I lost my home net: can't see or ping anything in LAN. Setting of static IPs (192.168.1.4 and 192.168.1.6 are permitted) for comps does not helps
How can I see Comp1 from Comp2 (and vice versa)? What went wrong?
Thank you in advance for any comment.

Some setting on your modem router may block the ping and visit between the two Computers like VLAN? In order to clarify the problem, the simple way is to reset the modem and then you do not have Internet, try each computer can ping or see each other. If not, the problem is modem by hardware.

Yes, Cora, you are almost right! In fact it was due to antivirus firewall. Now it's clear. Everything is OK! Thanks!
