Homeplugs Linking with eachother but no Internet

Hi,
I'm having serious problems with the PA511 Kit. The first lot I ordered, I sent back to Amazon as i thought they were faulty. These are not plug & play.
The second pack I ordered worked fine for a day but the connection dropped and now they are not connecting to my router.
I run the utility on my windows laptop which shows a connection strength 60-80% between the two and all the lights are on both of them. This suggests to me that the link between the 2 are fine?
However, when I connect to the other homeplug with the utility, it says 'homeplug not detected'
Ive tried holding the link button on each for 2 seconds to secure connect.
Ive tried rebooting the router.
Ive tried changing the ethernet cables.
Any Ideas as I think I might just send these back aswell for a refund.
