Hello, did you solve the issue in the end? I have exactly the same problem. I bought the router about 3 years ago. I've recently become aware that it's not giving out the signal I would hope for. Thought that maybe a firmware update would do it, but they don't seem to bothered about that (judging by lack of response to your original message). I guess we are expected to get a new router.
