@radicaldoc - Huawei B535. These tp-link units are junk. Never again. Customer service zero. Technical support zero. Firmware / beta versions garbage. Throw it in the bin and save your time trying to fix. Very poor 👎🏻

I personally dropped the MR600 and switched to a huawei B535 Router.

No more LTE Drops, and about 30% of download performances.

I consider TPLink lack of professionalism on these issues as a insult to customers....

Such a shame as I was using only tplink's products before this issue...

I 'll think twice before getting back to them on next product's purchase....

The original issue was not due to signal strength but due to firmware of the TP Link. I've been using FritzBox for over half a year now and would definately recommend and would buy again even despite the steep price point. The best home router I've ever had. Super stable, with great features. As for sighal strenght there is built-in realtime signal meter which helps you setup best placement for the router. There are one or two features missing for me, but still - the best, most stable network device I've used in home enviroment ever.

Same issue here. Bought this modem one week ago thinking that it would improve my internet connection, and it's totally crap, the LTE connection drops all the time, it's useless.

My model is Archer MR600 v1 00000001

I've tried with the latest firmware: 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n

also with a beta one that allows to manually select bands: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200417 Rel.75138n

but LTE connection keeps dropping.

I'm going to return it and get another brand (Huawei or Netgear)

Don't waste your time and money with TP-Link, they make really low quality stuff.

Also dropping connection each minute with Archer MR200 v3
I was not able to use it one single day after I've bought it.

Firmware: 1.12.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190628 Rel.45177n

Hardware: Archer MR200 v3 00000001
Latest version: 1.12.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190628 Rel.45177n
ISP: Digi
Network Type: 4G LTE
Band: 1
RSRP: -105 dBm
RSRQ: -9 dB
SNR: 4.4 dB
Signal: 75%

I tried everything: install the latest firmare, reboot, factory reset, custom profile, dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4...
I don't even have access to System Log after firmware upgrade. :(

I confirm that I've tested the SIM card with another router and with my phone and it's working perfect.

After having this exact problem and scrolling past many frustratingly similar comments... I've followed the consensus and have ordered a replacement router from a different manufacturer! But while I'm waiting for that to arrive I came across a "fix" which seems to have stopped this issue for me.

It came from this thread - https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/176312?page=12 - "Enabling IGMP Snooping in the Advanced tab under Network/LAN Settings seems to have solved the issue". I have done this and it does seem to have stopped the constant dropping of connection.

Another "fix" that was suggested was to Turn off the "smart connect" (I haven't done this and mined is behaving so maybe try the above first).

Has anything changed in that matter... The longer I have TP-Link product the more I hate it... It is been already 1 year after I bought entire TP-Link infrastructure:

- PLC transmitters,

- Omada Access Points,

- and finally the worst of all, TP-Link Archer MR 600.

I have few houses connected together via Ethernet (between houses), PLC (inside homes) and WAN access via Archer MR 600, ussually everything works well inside the LAN network, but LTE quality with MR 600 is a botleneck here. The longer I am using it the more it is dropping connections, I have alredy implemented Home Assistant script (sensor) that monitors the network status and here you have - it shows how many times the connection was dropped during a day:

Channel and signal strength is here:

Current IPS Version: 18101801

Firmware: (???) can not copy&pase, because Archer MR 600 just now hangs!!!! Jesus... but it is the latest...

Are you guys - TP LINK - doing something with that, or should we just throw away those routers to the trash bin?

Where is the promised Firmware upgrade ?

Where is the promised Mesh support for TP-Link PLC ?

Give us the promised Firmware!

I really want my money back for all of this: routers, PLC stations, WiFi Access Points. There is no point of keeping this entire infrastructure without Mesh, without LTE access, without SUPPORT!
