Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190412 Rel.66770n

Hi, I'm having issues getting IPV6 working on my router. I'm using LTE and I know my provider (EE) supports IPV6.

When I change the setting on the router to use IPV4 and IPV6 I notice that the router does not fetch and IPV4 address, only an IPV6 address.

So that's my first problem.

Secondly, and I think this will be cause by the first problem, all of my devices work fine on the network but some apps like steam aren't working.
I'm assuming this is a lack of dual-stacking.

Basically, how do I get my router to pull an IPV4 and not just an IPV6.

@AlfieFogg

Did you ever manage to resolve this? I have the exact same problem as you, which is that when set to both IPv4 & IPv6, the router only seems to obtain an IPv6 address and so IPv4 services do not work. I am also using EE.

@Cytec sorry for the late reply, I don't check this forum much. To this day I've not resolved this issue. I'm going to assume it's to do with the way the router requests an IP address from the cell tower. Just gonna have to stick with IPv4 for the time being unfortunately as a lot of sites just don't support IPv6 on their own.
