Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: TL-WPA4220(US)_V4_190326

I am getting unstable WiFi with firmware TL-WPA4220(US)_V4_190326 which I updated to recently: my internet connection drops for like a minute and then goes back up again. Can I at least revert it to TL-WPA4220(US)_V4_180514? Can you share a procedure? Thanks

@falblambiz

I downgraded the UK version from TL-WPA4220(EU)_V4_190326  to  TL-WPA4220(EU)_V4_180308 for the same reason. The device also became unresponsive every 6 or 7 days and had to be power cycled to restore normal operation. Since downgrading I haven't noticed any problems after several weeks of up time.

The downgrade process was perfectly straightforward and I would expect it to be the same procedure for the US product version (providing you install the correct firmware file for your region). I connected to the web interface via an ethernet connection, navigated to 'System Tools', backed up my existing settings, performed a factory reset, overwrote the V4_190326 firmware with V4_180308, then restored my settings from the backup.
