Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: ?

No upgrades available for Firmware, latest apparently installed.

Problem:

Cannot get 2800 to indicate internet connection in led display.

Therefore cannot get on to internet to install.

SSiD's not being identified [seen] as networks.

Tried to reinstall Firmware but not accepted in Advanced.

Set up:

Mac Os. iMac

Westnet provider NBN satellite connection [pppeo] ; [works through Budiilite modem, as now].

NBN connected but no internet showing in TP-Link 2800 Led display.

Correctly wired from Lan [NBN] to Lan/Wan on 2800.

Have reset numerous and booted all equipment.

Satellite NBN requires a router to connect, you purchased a DSL modem. Set this modem to a wireless router mode and try setup it.
