TL-MR6400 V4 FIRMWARE DOWNGRADE WITHOUT WARNING !
Hello !
I have just purchased (today 29 May 2020) a 4G LTE Router TP-LINK TL-MR6400 (EU) V4. I was very happy of my decision and of the product itself.
Obviously, first step before using it was to make the proper settings, then to upgrade firmware if necessary.
Therefore, after I made my settings, I have checked the innitial version of router: 1.16.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 191223 Rel.66638n
Then, I have checked on the recommended website for a new version: https://www.tp-link.com/ro/support/download/tl-mr6400/v4/#Firmware
the last version on the site was : LTE_GATEWAYv3_1.10.0_0.9.1_up_boot(190521)_2019-05-21_14.33.38.bin
Unfortunately, this was the moment I made my mistake: I did not realize that the downloaded version from the site was an older one ( 1.10.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190521 Rel.38696n ), so I did a downgrade instead.
I pushed the upgrade button and the router started to downgrade WITHOUT WARNING !
After the reboot, I realized my mistake ..
How can I reinstall the last (innitial) version of firmware ?
I mention that I cannot find it anywhere on oficial TP LINK site or all over internet.
The router seems to work fine, even if older version of firmware, but I am afraid of bugs that probably were solved in the innitial version 1.16.
PLEASE HELP WITH MY ISSUE AND SEND ME THE LINK TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF FIRMWARE: 1.16.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 191223 Rel.66638n
Thank you very much,
George
