Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.12 build 20191014 rel 42025

after reading dozens of unresolved m9plus gripes and arguing with my OOTB <1hr unit I'm starting YADWIG

i am a system admin by trade with considerable experience and exposure - you would do well not to dismiss me or provide glib fob off responses. given what i've read i'm likely to return the products outright without packaging and engage the accc.

to the meat of the issue and configuration.

i have configured a single m9 as an AP and whilst i'm not connected to it, i have a solid green LED

whilst connected (or attempting to maintain) i get less than 30 seconds, the wireless drops (yes, i have a frequency analyser) and 30 or so seconds later i am able to reattempt connection which isn't always consistently a win.

the device in its present performance is a paperweight, read: NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

extra testy goodness includes but not limited to:

  1. running it as a router connected to a FTTH Kogan NBN service
  2. running it as a router connecte to the existing archer (prefered config whilst i complete the new infrastructure in a "sandbox")
  3. disabling the existing wifi solution to ensure there is no internal RFI
  4. confirmed issue persists across IOS, android (2 distributions), mac os and windows 10

i despise the archer and was really anti tp-link but the specs of it really do present well on paper.

where does one extract the logging from this unit?

you have this one chance to demonstrate to the community and myself that you can and will support and resolve clear and obvious issues with your equipment.
