Archer VR600v + Telstra DECT Phone

Firmware Version: 1.0.0 0.9.1 v0078.0 Build 170814 Rel.66346n
PROBLEM: Can't receive or dial calls with Telstra DECT handset.
I have sucessfully registered the DECT handset to the modem.
If I try to dial out the LED light on the modem appears like it should and there is a dial tone on the phone but it will not ring a mobile phone.
And if I try to call the handset with my mobile phone it just goes to the telstra message bank.
Any ideas please?
