Model: RE365
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20180213 Rel. 56309

Setup with WPS Pushbutton, simple and easy.

All our Apple Devices (iMac, MBP, iPhones, iPads...) connect with TP-Link, even the Nintendo Switch, no Problem. But Android Devices won’t connect.

Philips 55PUS7272 (Android TV) with latest Firmware and Samsung Smartphones (Galaxy S20 with latest Firmware and an older Samsung Smatphone) all ask for Password but won’t accept it.

What could be the problem? How can I connect Android Devices to TP Link?

Thanks in advance

@Ralfff

Hello,

I would kindly ask You to update the firmware version of the repeater.

https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/download/re365/#Firmware

Furthermore, it is important that the encryption method on the router is set to WPA2-PSK.

After you have installed the new firmware version, please reset the repeater to factory settings and configure it again via the web interface.

If You have any further questions feel free to ask.

Best regards

Tudor
