Model: TL-WR841N
Hardware Version: V10
Firmware Version:

Hello everyone,

so I just finished the firmware upgrade from an older version TL-WR841ND_V10_150310 to TL-WR841N/ND(EN)_V10_200325 which all seemed to go fine in the process. Copy files over restarts waiting for the refresh on the browser tab done that should have been the process to the older firmware that worked to the newer one it seems to be stuck in a boot loop now all LED lights indicate normal behavior but once i wanna access the web interface the connection times out.

The router is set up as an AP to enhance our network so no total outage. For troubleshooting steps i held the reset button for 5 seconds already waited for it to flash all LEDs and see if that fixed it no avail, restarting the router entirely by taking it off power nothing.

Model-Nr unlike the thread description says is an EoL-Model: TL-WR841ND

Hope we can find a fix for this.

Best wishes

Klosteinmann

@Beccobunsen This looks really complicated I found a video tutorial that explains it. This doesn't look simple at all, any other solution possible otherwise I will just put it aside and probably order a new router for now maybe in the future if I have time and the wits to do, so I will attempt a resuce.

i done this some times with TL-WR842ND it's look complicated..., but no is only mater of pushing time with the reset button.. you download the tfpt server, setting the fixed ip, connect via cable, and the firware is loaded.
