Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 2.0.16

Hi all,

I am trying to connect my external HDD to my TP link Deco, to use as a wireless backup drive for Apple's Time Machine.

Found this link:

https://www.tp-link.com/nl/support/faq/1564/

But I can't seem to find this programme where I can find the advanced USB settings. Where do I access these router settings?

I downloaded the (Dutch) Deco app, but this doesn't show usb settings at the advanced section.

Opening http://192.168.1.1/ in my browser doesnt work too.

Hope someone can help.

Best regards,

@MariekeB Unfortunately the TP-Link Deco range is not capable of becoming a Time Machine server. Depending on your firmware version the M9 doesnt have a web interface, even if  you had the latest firmware with a web interface you would not find time machine functionality there.

The document you refered to is only applicable to certain TP-Link Routers, namely Archer C8( V4 ) , Archer C9( V4 V5 ) , Archer C4000 , Archer C2300( V1 V2 ) , Archer C1900( V2 )
