Archer VR600 - Remote Management Access - 403 Forbidden

Local management works fine, however remote management (via WAN) gives me either 403 Forbidden or a strange login showing "top, middle, bottom" logins (this doesnt happen that often). Have tried using tp-link ddns, and no-ip DDNS and both the same. Also tried https and http, again both the same. Have tried remote ip access, set to all or specific ip..again the same.
Have also rebooted router and cleared beowser cache. Also tried safari and chrome on both ios and OSX...again the same.
Thoughts?

The weird log-in page, is it like this:
And could you please check the WAN IP address of the VR600 to see if it is a private IP or public IP?
Then, please try to ping the DDNS domain name on the CMD to see if the returned IP address is the same as the WAN IP.
