I’ve bought an Archer vr1210 to connect to a vdsl line (Fttc). My provider is TIM in Italy. When the router is switched off and it is switched on again, it takes a very long time (ove 20 minutes) to reconnect to the Line. Clearly the provider says that the signal is good and the problem doesn’t depend on the Line. 

I’d like to know if there is some parameter to set to gain a lower connection time and if i can find some logs to understand why connection time is so long. 

Besides I ask to italian people if this problem is only mine.

Buon pomeriggio,

 

in passato ho avuto lo stesso tipo di problema e spero che il tuo caso sia lo stesso. Avevo a muro la vecchia presa a 3 poli della SIP. Se anche tu hai la stessa presa, dovresi scollegare il condensatore che si trova all'interno di essa (presa principale), e poi devi fare la prova ad invertire i fili dei due poli. Mi ricordo che in questo modo risolsi il problema. Ricordati di verificare di aver impostato la connessione tipo PPPoe e VLAN ID 835.

Grazie, abbiamo cambiato la presa al muro a tre poli, ora il tempo di connessione è sceso a qualche minuto. Grazie ancora.
