Connect to Sky Broadband
Hi
i would like to use my Archer MR 600 as the primary router for Sky Broadband to see if I can improve wireless coverage. If this is possible please can someone provide me with step by step guidance or point me in the direction of simple guidance.
Thanks

Good day.
Sorry for the delay.
I guess the MR600 would also connect via Ethernet cable to Sky Broadband?
If yes, here is what you need to do:
- Log in to the router via http://tplinkmodem.net
- Change the operation mode to be wireless router mode;
- If Sky broadband required a PPPoE connection, please go to advanced >network>internet do add the PPPoE username and password;
Thank you very much.

I don't believe the MR 600 supports Sky broadband as Sky broadband uses the MAC address of the router to log on. Not sure if the MR 600 supports MAC address log on?

@JFPD Ok, it depends if you are on ADSL or fibre, as fibre logs on using MER (DHCP Option 61). Does the MR 600 support this?

@Fl1nst0ne Thanks for your response and sorry for the delayed reply. Under setup the connection types are Dynamic IP, PPPoE, Static IP L2TP, PPTP so I don't think it supports MER.
