Region : Netherlands

Model : TL-WA830RE

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version :

ISP : KPN

Hey,

I recently bought the TP-LINK WA730RE (v2) and got the following problem:

The setup went kind of well, I pressed this kind of refresh button on my main router (Thomson TG789vn) and the range extender button on the repeater. It configured as stated: The light flashed for about half a minute and then became stable. When using inSSIDer on my pc I can find two signals: one with the MAC Adress of the repeater.

But: When close to the repeater and far from the router with an android device it keeps switching between both signals and then to no internet at all. This is quite annoying and makes the repeater pointless.

Is there a way to solve this?

Thanks in advance,

Kristan

Security: WPA-PSK (WPA + WPA2)
BTW. It is a possibily to change these since there is no one with evil intentions coming near this house, it is quite remote.

(Edit post not working)

Well, when shutting off all my wireless networks on my pc and connecting the TP-LINK through a Ethernet Cable, the internet is still working, so the TP-LINK is working, but wirelessly interfering somewhat, how to solve?

Like changing channels?

But I CANT ACCESS THE CONFIG (web utility) PAGE WITH THE DEFAULT IP, HOW TO FIX? I can only acces the default router its interface.
