Hi

I have been trying to access an ESP HD-IPC camera on a MR600 4G router with an EE sim card from my mobile phone using ESP camera app.

Camera is available on router network and works fine on laptop with ESP HDview software , firmware on router is up to date and as advised by Tp-link DMZ has been enabled on router.

Is there any other settings that are required to be enabled/disabled to allow access to camera from outside world eithr via phone app or laptop software over internet or can I use any other system other than DMZ to access camera.

Camera details as follows

IP address 192.168.1.168

Subnet 255.255.255.0

video port 80

http port 80

rtsp port 554

mac address 00-2A-2A-2D-5C-3F

@RoddyM

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Have you checked the internet IP address on the Archer MR600?

Is it a public IP or private IP? Or you could check on https://whatismyipaddress.com/ to see if it is the same as the IP on the MR600?

If it is a private one, there would be another firewall that would block the internet data for the camera.

If possible you could require a public IP address and use the OpenVPN on the smartphone to access the camera, which would be more secure than DMZ;

Thanks a lot.

Hi Sunshine

Thanks for your reply , thats what I suspected was the problem that EE was blocking access but I was not 100% sure.

Thanks for your time replying to my request
