I purchased the Archer AX50 yesterday but I'm finding the speeds are slower than my old google wifi router on iPhone 12, iPhone 11, and iPhone X. I get a maximum of 250mbps if I'm lucky! On my old macbook pro 2016 I can sometimes get 500mbps which is weird.

Connected to the lan port on the AX50 gives me over 900mbps. 

Even when I reset to factory defaults and upgrade the firmware and use default settings the maximum speed I get is 250mbps.

I've tried the following :

• Updated firmware (makes no difference)
• Reset to factory defaults (makes no difference)
• Set up using the app / Set up not using the app (as someone on the forum mentioned it makes a difference)
• Tried connecting to 5G with 802.11ax only (width and channel on auto, also tried setting 160MHz, makes no difference )
• Tried Smart mode on / off (makes little difference)
• Set up connected directly to my ISP WAN in (router mode) makes no difference
• Set up connected through my ubiquiti router (access point mode) makes no difference
