I enabled Smart Connect on my router to try & improve the piss-poor streaming via my Devolo powerline adaptors. It seemed to work but now the Amazon Echos keep dropping out. Anyone else encountered this?

I found a fix which was to set the channel width on the 5Ghz SSID. But if you use Smart Connect you can't set the channel width! (catch 22)

I can't set the powerline adaptors to all be 5Ghz because I have some light switches that will only run on 2.4Ghz. Any ideas?
