Archer C6 limits speed to 10mbps, while the available speed is 100mbps from the provider
- Provider: ACT
- After connecting to Archer C6, that I purchased 3 days back, speed is showing 10mbps on mobile/laptop both connected wirelessly, both in 5GHz, 2.4GHz.
- Speed validated to be 100mbps by connecting my laptop directly to the cable.
- Tried to alter the setting of Duplex from Auto negotiation to 100mbps, 1000mbps separately - but things didn't improve.
- Here is the screen shot for 10mbps limit.

What device is sitting before the Archer C6 - ISP cable modem, ISP router, etc. ?

Please take a look into the 2 screen-shots, 1 for the basic settings you asked. The other one is to know what the speed ISP is providing when connected directly to my laptop without the router.

2. Internet speed without router (Cable directly connected to the lan port of laptop)

Exactly what I have suspected:
That's the reason you don't see speeds over 10 mbps when you connected to C6 router.
Change the ethernet cable between your modem and the C6 router with new one Cat 5E ot Cat 6.
Then on your C6 make sure you have the setting for Duplex to Auto negotiation:
Finally you should see the correct speed if everything is OK in your C6:

In the 2nd screenshot, using the same cable I got > 100mbps without the router. Why should there be any issue with the cable ? Please clarify.

If you are using the same ethernet cable to connect your laptop to the ISP router directly and observe speed >100mpbs and then this same cable to connect the ISP router to your C6 and observe only 10 mbps on the Internet port, that means C6 can't negotiate faster speed with this cable.
So, either C6 doesn't like this cable or your C6 Internet port is faulty.
To exclude the first reason try with different cable first (like I mentioned in my previous post).
If the issue persists, then you should seek assistance from your local support.
