Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I have searched for this same issue on this site, but can not find any links so i have started a new thread.

I have an Occulus Quest 2 and a wifi 6 compatible PC - but I can not get either device to connect to the router at any speed greater than 1200mbps, but for wifi6 devices it is advertised as 2100mbps - any ideas?

It runs great at 1200mbps, but why cant I see the higher speed connection, probably because I am missing something simple, but I cant see what it is?

Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks,

Andy

@Andy9000

That really depends on your devices. Their wireless adapters should support channel width of 160 Mhz to be able to connect @ 2400 mbps.

It's also mandatory that you have the latest drivers for these wireless adapters.

From the router side the channel width should be set either on Auto or 160 Mhz:

If your wireless device doesn't support channel width of 160 MHz, it won't connect at that speed nevertheless the router supports that.
