Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Which one is better? I read that the AC1900 has a 1.8 GHz processor, while the AX50 has a 0.8 GHz processor. Which one do you think is better? I assume it should be the AX50 since it's newer and I need WiFi 6.

@Stinger

If you really want to use TP-Link, you can go with anything other AX50. All the new ones have Tri-Core CPU and support WPA3 or planned.

Check the manual and available features.

OneMesh Support: https://www.tp-link.com/in/onemesh/product-list/

WPA3 Support : https://www.tp-link.com/in/wpa3/product-list/

If it needs to be from AX series then refer to this comparison. I would go for AX20.

@Stinger

I will recommend against it, it lacks features like OneMesh and even though it says WiFi6 there is no WPA3 support and not planned in near future.

And you will need a cooling solution since it gets considerably warm/hot.

Save your money and spend on some other solution.

@Ashish14

I already have a cooling solution for my current router, so I'll just use it for the newer one. Which TP-Link router with WiFi 6 do you recommend? Thanks.

Edit: Seems like the AX20 has support for OneMesh and WPA3, so I'm leaning towards that for now. I just need any router that is better than the AC1900.

@Ivaylo

Thanks for the suggestion! I ordered the AX20 and it's going to arrive in a couple of hours. I've had the AC1900 v1 for almost 4 years now and the range decreased so much compared to new. yes
