I have a small router that is providing WiFi in my daughters room. This so that her girlfriends can ask her for the WiFi password, instead of me.

There is a  PiHole in my network that is filtering the traffic, and checking the stats I noticed some strange activity from that little router.
The router is connecting to Amazon and Wikipedia, even without a client connected to it!
I have powered off the WiFi, disconnecting all devices that were connected to it, and still there is activity coming from the router to Amazon and Wikipedia, and it is a lot as well
I wonder why to be honest.
