Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 build 20200902 rel 65591

Bought new tplink archer c6 version 2 from amazon. 

The Internet drops 4-5 times a day and have to forget the network and the. Add it again. 

Issue happen both on my phone and laptop. 

Last time I saw the issue today morning with authorization failed with exclamation mark on router ssid when checked in WiFi connection window. 

Same thing has been happening since I bought it. 

Tried to check for firmware update but it says it already has the latest version. 

Need immediate help as it's impacting my work.

You can try the beta FW from this thread's recommended solution and see if it's more stable.

Hello ivaylo, Good afternoon ! My firmware version is 1.3.6 and the one you have is 1.3.0 which seems older. Please confirm on the same. If you think it will resolve the issue can you please help me the specific link for India. Ones shared are for us and UK. Regard Shanky

I don't know if this FW will resolve your issue, but you can give it a try to see that. You can always revert back to the current one if it doesn't improve your experience.

Thanks for sharing the info. Updated the firmware to 1.3.6 Build 20201030 rel.60104(4555). Will observe it and share the feedback in the next few days. Can you please share the method to move back to the original version I had. It is not available on the tplink site.

Sorry to bother you but I downloaded and installed the top one only amongst the three links shared. And now when I login to my router page it stays tplink beta and 1.3.6 Build 20201030 rel.60104(4555) but the old version was 1.3.6 build 20200902 rel. 65591

Hey got it. The list is the link for the old firmware I had. I just have one more question. If this beta version works good will we have the final updated version available

That's your old one (top of the list):

If it stays on beta after reverting back, then maybe the update process didn't go smoothly. Try hard reset the device and upload your beforehand backed up configuration.

Thank you for the update. I didn't backed up the previous settings before updating the beta version. Now what to do?

That's not an issue. You can back it up at any time, since you can revert back from this beta FW. Usually before updating the FW is advisable to have a back up of the configuration, just in case.
