Hi all,

I am using a RE450 range extender to connect my PS4 to the internet. Unfortunately, it is the only option in my apartment. Connecting the PS4 to the RE450 using an ethernet cable used to give stable and fast internet. Lately, however, my PS4 will lose connection to the extender for about 1 second and immediately reconnect. This happens about once per hour even while using an ethernet cable. I have tried assigning a static IP to the extender, though this did not seem to solve the issue. I was wondering if anyone else experiences this issue and what a solution could be.

Kind regards,

Sven

I hope a fix will appear at some point because it's quite annoying when playing an online game or streaming haha..

I have not encountered that problem myself. Normally I'd say resetting the extender and moving it closer to your router would help. I know 5G networks have a smaller range than 2.4G networks. Maybe that is something to consider
