I am really pissed off. Let not get started about: USB that cannot do anything. The bad customer service (I know more about your products than they do). Why a Deco connects to tplinkcloud.com, bing.com, google.com and youtube.com every 5 minutes. And that Deco M9  Plus cannot perform an firmware update itself. 

 

But, this thread is about the latest update of M9. I have been waiting a long time for version Deco M9 v2 firmware 1.5.0. Finally! Unfortunately it is not what I expected. Why is there still not a standard web interface. With the Deco M5 v3 firmware 1.5? The app interface is so limited and you can't even manage that.

 

If you still manage to open the web interface, you will get "Operation failed.". You only get information about which decos are connected. But the information about the WiFi remains blank. A Deco M5 has no problems here.

 

The Deco comes across as a real failure. Please give a worthy explanation as to why you are not delivering a functioning version M9? And tell me how, what and when everything will be resolved.

Im with you, upgraded to 1.50 and now all my satellite goes blinking red all the time.

It's weird (humble so to speak, lol). M5 got an upgrade to 1.50 some time ago. Shortly afterwards an update 1.51 came out due to bugs. Much later, the 1.50 upgrade for M9 came. I expected them to learn something with the upgrade for M5 and a good working upgrade for the M9.

 

As I've seen before, don't expect a reply from TP link on this topic ...

I am very confused.

 

I found a different thread, where a 1.4 beta made a web GUI available. I even found that a non-standard port was listed.

 

I upgraded all mine to the latest 1.5 as well. Wasn't easy, as I had to find the old installer (one on web didn't work at all). Tried regular HTTP, HTTPS, and even the non-standard port. No web GUI at all.

 

Was the web GUI with the M9 plus only a 1.4 beta thing? Does TP-Link have no intention of supporting one on M9 Plus? Or is this planned for an update "soon" (i.e., Tesla time)?

But they did fix a bug quickly:
