Hello all,

I have just purchased a TL-WN722N and I cannot get it to work.

I installed the driver apparently successfully. Device Manager shows the device as a network adapter called TP-Link Wireless USB adapter and says: The device is working properly.

I thought I was all set until I looked at my network adapter settings where it shows the TP-Link Wireless USB adapter as it should, but it is disabled.

When I try to enable it, I get 2 windows messages: enabling... and then enabled. But the adapter is still disabled.

If I go to "Manage Wireless Networks" I get no networks (but my phone says otherwise). If I try to add a network manually, I get a windows message: An unexpected error occurred.

I changed the USB port where the adapter is connected.

I reinstalled the driver from TP-Link website rather than the driver from the disk.

I rebooted several times.

I am running out of ideas on how to get this working.

Now for the detailed information, I am running

Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Service pack 1

Got 8GB of ram (if it is relevant)

Intel i7-7700 (if it is relevant)

Any help or suggestion will be welcome.

Thanks to all in advance.
