Deco X20 not connecting to internet
Good Day
The Deco x20 is refusing to connect to the internet - I have phoned the ISP who stated everything is connected fine - followed the steps on the troubleshooter - still no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.

Got onto TPlink hotline support and it just connected - didn't change any settings, or modify anything. They were unsure why it suddenly connected.

Okay so after about 24hrs the device disconnected and refused to connect again.
The following has been tried:
Laptop (PPPOE) - Works fine.
Old router - Works fine.
Old router -> Deco (AP mode) - works fine.
Changed Ethernet cables tried both cat 5 and cat 6 cables.
Tried allocating DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) manually.
Swapped units for new units with supplier.
TP Link support has no idea what to do next or what's wrong.
Username and password has been triple checked.
Verified with the ISP the router is not locked, and the line is functioning fine.
The only possible problem I can think of is that the modem is incompatible with this specific model router.
The unit refuses to work as a wireless router. I am tech inclined but this is crazy it has me pulling my hair out.
If someone is willing to make sense of the technical logs I can send them to you.
If anyone is able to help make sense of this it would be greatly appreciated.

1. How about:
Old router (WiFi turned off)-> Deco (Router mode) - does it work?
If it works, and you are not getting double NAT issues, let it be. If you are getting double NAT issues, you can try this:
Old router (WiFi turned off)-> Deco (Router mode) with Main Deco placed in old router DMZ- does it work?
2.

How about that for tech inclined person:
Old router -> Deco (Router mode) - reboot Deco - collect Deco logs after reboot
Modem -> Deco (Router mode) - reboot Deco - confirm Deco can't connect to Internet - collect Deco logs after reboot
Then, compare two sets of logs by yourself. I hope you like reading logs.
Also, if by any chance during your troubleshooting Deco reconnected again, hurry and collect its logs. Then, next time it won't connect, you'll again have two sets of logs to compare, now for the same network configuration.
3. Of course, that worth trying if you want to keep Decos.
