Hello, I have a problem with my router and it is that after a rain with lightning and over electrical charges.

My router does not obtain the WAN data provided by the modem, that is, the gateway, DNS, Public IP remains at "0.0.0.0".
What could it be?. No matter how much it restarts, it does not connect to the modem to access the internet.

Connect your computer directly to the modem (ignoring WR841N) to see if it works properly - do you have internet access ?

If yes, then try to hard reset (method 1) the WR841N to factory defaults and reconfigure it from scratch. I presume you're using "Dynamic IP" on WR841N WAN port.

If WR841N still doesn't get any data on its WAN port from your modem, then maybe it was damaged by the electrical charges.

I tried many methods and they all failed.

The modem works perfectly. I even plugged in another router and it worked flawlessly. Maybe my router has a bad WAN port.
