I already run a laptop, xbox and ipad wirelessly.

Relocating my old wired pc (s i know internet works on it) - into my loft and purchased th TL-WN821N

PC recognises it as wireless usb adapter - and ive installed the driver. However will not let me connect - it says no wireless networks are available.

it is sending packets, but has not recieved any. Ity appears in the network and sharing centre and is enabled.

IPv4 and IPv6 are not connected.

When i try and make a new wireless network it says there is an error with the device. Drivers are fully up to date.

I had exectly the same problem with a really cheap adapter from another manufacturer last week, and assumed it was the device, however this is the same problem - anyone got any ideas.

Uninstall anti-virus software and the TP-link driver and restart your computer.
Then download the latest driver of the wireless adapter and manually install it in device manager>network adapters.
