RE305 disconnecting every 5 minutes.
RE305 running latest firmware v1.1.4 (tried v1.1.3 too).
Extender keeps disconnecting to router every 5 minutes. Based on the router and AP log, the AP disassociates normally with unknown reason.
Troubleshooting steps:
1. Use 2.4GHz instead of 5Ghz.
2. Tune Wi-Fi Coverage to "Minimum Coverage".
3. Disable DHCP server.
Any advice if there is new firmware fixing this issue soon?

@Josephc Hello,
Thank you for your valuable feedback. May I know, do you use RE in RE mode or AP mode?
- If the 2.4Ghz Led goes OFF on the range extender when issue happens, please confirm other devices (laptops & mobile phones) could get stable connection from Router's 2.4GHz at RE's location.
- Please change a different Wi-Fi channel for main router 2.4Ghz and see if RE could work stably.
- Remove the obstacles between RE and router when you locate the RE closer to main router
- If RE's LEDs stays ON and normal when issue happens, you could log in to Range extender's web page and set up a static IP address (DHCP ON) for RE as FAQ below:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2965/
If issue persists, may I know does other devices like mobile phones work stably when connect to router at the same location?
How about the LED status on RE when issue happens? -What is the model of main router? - May I know your network topology - Can you share the whole log file of RE to us when issue happens, thank you

RE305 in RE Mode.
Below are the tested topology.
Laptop --- (2.4GHz) --- RE305 --- (2.4GHz) --- Wireless AP (Cisco Meraki).
Laptop --- (5GHz) --- RE305 --- (5GHz) --- Wireless AP (Cisco Meraki).
Laptop --- (2.4GHz) --- RE305 --- (5GHz) --- Wireless AP (Cisco Meraki).
Laptop --- (5GHz) --- RE305 --- (2.4GHz) --- Wireless AP (Cisco Meraki).
- I've tested RE305 very near to the router with SNR >50dB.
- Yes, I'm able to get stable connection for both 2.4GHz/5GHz by directly connecting from laptop to Wireless AP.
- Yes, RE LED stays ON all the time.
- Yes, I did try to use static IP address instead of DHCP from the AP.
I'm currently testing this topology. It seems to be more stable than the previous 4 cases.
Laptop --- (2.4GHz / 5GHz) --- RE305 --- (2.4GHz / 5GHz) --- Wireless AP (Cisco Meraki).
Here is a sample log from the Wireless AP.
Based on Cisco documentation, the reason for "client was deauthenticated" is as follow:
Sending STA is leaving or has left Independent BSS or ESS. Client indicated to the AP that it's disconnecting from the wireless network. Could be from a client going into 'sleep' mode and disconnecting the WiFi radio for battery savings.
Thank you.
