Hello.  We regularly use TP Link Powerline adapters in our home network setups, in order to get a "wired" network connection to a part of a home without any wiring, and where it would be prohibitive to add.  We often do this in order to connect additional Wifi access points onto the home network.

These are usually commercial grade access points powered by Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

Why don't the network ports on the powerline adapters support PoE?  They are directly plugged into power, should be very simple.
