I am new to this forum and am fishing for advice / info. My current internet service provider has supplied me their defacto modem and router in one device to connect to the internet. At good times their download speed is 25mbs. Is it possible for me to connect a wifi 6 router to their device, use the wireless capability of the wifi 6 device and switch wireless off on my providers modem?  Secondly, will it improve the wireless capability with respect to speed, stability etc or is my incoming speed too slow anyway?
