When the primary version is connected to a bridge modem it means that one of the network ports is used for input network from the modem.
In such case, the other port can be used to connect laptop with a cabel ?

Yes, you can do that. You can also connect network switch to second Deco Ethernet port, if you have more than one device you want to connect to it by Ethernet cable.
