Recently purchased this kit and successfully installed.

Both adapter have two Ethernet sockets.  The one connected to the router seems to only need one Ethernet socket.  mistakenly I had presumed that I'd need to connect two Ethernet cables from teh router to the adapter.  The router didn't like this at all and killed off my internet connection .

All fixed by simply removing one cable.

Why does the kit include Ethernet sockets on both adapters?  Surely the adapter connecting to the router only needs one socket?
