I have tried to pair a new ranger extender to an existing powerline network to no avail.

I have had the device sitting into a wall socket next to my source adaptor and it just doesnt seem to want to go through the process of pairing.

When i first plug it in, the Power Led will flash around 5 times, then the Powerline LED flashes once and then the wifi LED stays on.

When i hit the pair button.... nothing happens... no flashing of any lights or anything.

Is this a hardware issue, or a firmware issue, i can connect to it via the wifi, but thats all i can do.

Anyone had a similiar experience and can advise what the solution is... or have i got a duff device ?
