Cannot access internet via tl-mr3020 ap

I set my TL-MR3020 to AP to act as a repeater to boost my wifi signal in the living.
My TL-MR3020 is able to ping the main router but there is no internet access (no Internet light) on
the TL-MR3020 . The main router ip is 192.168.1.1 and TL-MR3020 IS 192.168.254.0
I followed exactly the instructions on how to configure the TL-MR3020 from TP-Link website and
everything seems ok except no internet. Can someone please help and advise.
