TL-WA901ND - how to make QSS connection permanent ?

I used the QSS function to connect my TL-WA901ND to a Canon wireless printer. Everything works fine except the connection is not permanent. If I turn-off the printer or if I do not use the printer for some time, the connection is no longer valid. I have to re-start the QSS process again. This is not practical because my TL-WA901ND is mounted on the ceiling.
Can anyone advice me how to make this connection permanent ?
