I am using a tl-wn725n with Ubuntu 12.04LTS. I have compiled and installed the linux drivers from the Realtek website (RTL8188CUS).
I can get a good wi-fi connection at first but it fails after a couple of minutes and cannot reconnect without a restart. The wi-fi router is good (other devices are connected) and the same machine has no problems with a wired ethernet connection.
I'd be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions how to solve this.
