Model: TL-WA850RE
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20150911 Rel. 34131

I have tried resetting the repeater about 5 times now, and I am sure I have entered the right wi-fi password at least once in those 5 repeater setups.

I am not talking about logging into the webinterface, as that works just fine.

I confirm the location, select the network, enter the password, confirm or edit the SSID, let the repeater do it's thing, but every time the repeater is set up, all lights except for power and wifi will remain off, and trying to connect to the repeater will return the error 'wrong password'.

This stays true for default SSID, suppressed SSID,  as well as giving the extended network its own SSID.

Connecting via WPS does not seem to work either, and I do not have a ethernet device at hand to try and access the web interface via a browser.

So I would like to do a firmware update next or get myself some OS on my old notebook to try and access the interface via ethernet.

Opinions, solutions, ideas?

Edit: I tried setting it up via ethernet and everything works now.
