Hi everyone,

a quick question: how to set VX220G2V in Bridge mode (voip active)?

Disable DHCP and assign a fix IP (subnet of main router) and what else?

Thanks

@BDM

Judging by your description maybe you're trying to set VX220G2v in AP mode ?

If that the case then use this guide - probably you'll have to use Case 2.

If you're referring to WDS Bridge feature then use this guide.

@terziyski wds bridge isn't an option on vx220.

About case2 (quote) "change the LAN IP address of your TP-Link N router to an IP address on the same segment of the main router. This IP address should be outside the main router’s DHCP range."

Why not in the DHCP main router range?

That's a suggestion for convenience.

If it is in the DHCP range is possible that the router will give the same IP address to another device (by DHCP) which will cause an IP address conflict.
