Powerline AV2000 maximum bandwidth
Hi everyone.
Have anyone tested those to determine a maximum network bandwidth between adapters? I mean plugging in the adapters to neighboring outlets of the same wall socket or the outlets of a socket extension where all 3 wires are used and run some tests such Iperf or file copying etc. For example, with AV1000 I get 300 mbit/s of bandwidth with neighboring adapters, no more. And 250 in different wall sockets (15-20 meters). How really fast is AV2000?
I want to realize a real speed before I spend lots of $$$ to find out that it doesn't fit my needs.
Thanks!

Hello @zod1ac
That depends, and there isn't a specific value for powerline rate. Take AV1300 as an example, in our lab the power line rate on Utility could reach more than 1Gb(in ideal condition), I also met a customer testing AV1300 on the same powerboard and get powerline rate around 600- 700Mbps. If the powerline rate value on tpPLC Utility is more than 30% of the advertised rate (AV1300, AV2000 etc), we will consider the powerline environment is suitable to use powerline units.

Hello@zod1ac
We have an instruction below that might help explain, the real throughput is around 35% of the Powerline rate according to our lab test in an ideal condition. And powerline rate is mainly decided by power line or power line environment itself.
Explanation about the Powerline Rate and Actual speed of the Powerline Adapters

@Solla-topee hello
Thanks for answering, that part is clear. Then the second answer would be: what powerline speed will I see if I connect two AV2000 adapters at the same socket? not 2000 of course but how much less?
