Hi

I need to open up port forwarding on port 80 to go to my exchange server, but the port 80 is used for accessing the admin login for the router.

Can i change the admin port so it doesnt use port 80?

I have the same problem, but with my TD 8817.

I tried to forward port 8080, but it seems not working when I open it from browser(I've tested it, with canyouseeme[dot]org and port 8080 can be access from outside).
the only port working is 80.

is this because of my isp? but I don't think so.

thank you

Hi.
Actually, when you open Port 80 for other devices on the modem, the admin port using for accessing the router's web page will change to 8080 automatically.

Have you double checked the WAN IP address and subnet mask on the status page of the modem?
This WAN IP address should be a Public IP, not Private IP. If the IP address is one of 172.16.x.x-172.31.x.x, 192.168. 0.0-192.168.255.255, 10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255, it shows that the IP address is a private IP address. To remotely connect to the internal server, you need to get a Public IP from your Internet provider.

Before doing port forwarding on TD-W8960N for the server, it is also very important to set a static IP on the Server and check its port numbers.

If you have checked the above settings and it still cannot work, you need to contact with your ISP to check if they block Port 80 on their side.
