Hi All

Happy New Year.

Just wanted to ask if anyone has used m7450 as a failover router with Draytek or Fritz!box (or similar).

To expand: when my FTTC drops on my Draytek, I'd like Draytek to automatically switch over to m7450 as a backup until the VDSL connection is re-established. Is this at all possible with the m7450 or do I need to get a 4G USB dongle to do that?

Thank you all.

@Edinburgh_wg

Well, I'll answer my own question:

- yes, it is possible to connect m7450 as a failover router, but it'd neen to be constantly connected, which isn't great for the battery. For some reason also it's not possible to connect the router without the battery. Otherwise, I'd have a lovely failover.
