Unstable Archer C9 connection post firmware upgrade. Can I downgrade safely?

Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 3.17.1 Build 20210107 Rel. 55552

I updated my Archer C9 router to firmware and since then it has been sporadically losing connection to some devices.It happens on 2.4 as well as 5 ghz band.

Firmware version 3.17.1 Build 20210107 Rel. 55552

Harwave version ArcherC9 v1.0

Can i downgrade to the previous version of firmware safely? Is there something else I should try first?

Thanks,

Jonas

@aidasjonas

You should be able to downgrade safely according to these release notes.

What you can do is to reset to factory defaults and then re-configure from scratch.

If that doesn't help then go for the dowgrade procedure.
