Every TP-Link product contains FOSS software, and almost every TP-Link router I know of contains Linux.

Why is it TP-Link's business practice to leech off the FOSS community and not support them in return with things like WiFi adapter drivers for Linux?

It is extremely disrespectful and selfish.

  @apexstrada just bought an Archer T2U Plus wireless adapter. Didn't work out of the box on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS which was the latest Ubuntu LTS at the time. I read nothing but complaints by other people not being able to get it working with other Linux distributions either.

I don't even know what you mean by "generic drivers".

Only you have are talking about re-writing drivers.

Sounds like you haven't been using Linux very long.

  @OkWhatever Try the rtl8812au drivers.

$ sudo apt install git build-essential dkms
$ git clone https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au.git
$ cd rtl8812au
$ sudo ./dkms-install.sh
