Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.3

Greetings.

I've just installed a Deco M5 mesh network on my house and It's working perfectly for my wi-fi needs.

However, I have two computers, one is my primary computer that I use for work and games and it's connected directly to the ISP router, at 192.168.0.X subnet.

In my workshop, I have a computer that is connected using the Deco mesh but it's assigned to the 192.168.68.X subnet.

I need to share files between those computers but they can't even see each other in the network.

To add some insult to the injury, one is running Win10 and the other Win7, so the Homegroup options are now disabled by Microsoft.

ISP Router ----> PC01 Win10

     \

     M5(router)----M5

           \--M5 -- PC02 Win 07

I've tried connecting my PC01 to the M5, but I loose 90% of speed, drops from 650mb to 65mb.

                              / ----> PC01 Win10 NO GO

ISP Router----  M5(router)----M5

                              \--M5 -- PC02 Win 07

Any suggestions? The workshop is quite far, running a cable is not an option.

Thanks!

@CDonini

Configure your Deco to run in Access Point mode: How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode?

This will bring all your devices into single 192.168.0.* subnet and will restore file sharing between your PCs.
