Hi all,

can anyone suggest the best way to connect and use 6 pieces of Deco E4?

My initial thought was to run cables from all the 6 of the Deco E4 to a switch that is connected to my modem. This way I should be able to obtain a consistent internet speed.

I have not tried it as I will need to purchase the Lan cables etc. Has anyone experienced this before?

Cheers,

Rs

Three out of my four Deco nodes are wired with Ethernet cables, and that setup works perfectly. The only thing you may need to do is switch Deco mesh to Access Point mode, otherwise you will be more restricted in how you can wire Deco units. Also, not every switch supports Deco mesh Ethernet wiring. See the following TP-Link documents:
