Model: Archer AX20
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version: Updated

I currently have an Archer AX 20 that is on OneMesh with an ax 1800... I'm planning on getting the TP-Link Archer AX1500 but I do not want it to be on OneMesh but still have the same network to access. Is it possible to set it up that both routers are connected via ethernet and have the same network name?

Yes, that's possible if you configure the Archer AX1500 in AP mode (Case 1) with the same SSIDs like AX20.
